I was recormended Sammy's Bagel place to give their bagels a try from a friend of mine who used to go there a lot. I receieved a different taste in my mouth then I was expected. I inform the women behind the counter to not put too much cream cheese and to lightly toast my bagel but she overloaded my order with expired cream cheese; I had a sour taste in my mouth when I took a bite out of it, and the bagel was overburned where all I tasted was a charcol flavoring. I do not recormend this bagel shop they cannot follow instructions to make a simple bagel. I can see why he stopped going.

Our favorite local bagel shop. Favorites are Sammy Stick (a straight everything), Black Russian, and egg. Can order ahead (recommended for Saturday mornings or holidays) and they will make "mini" sized of any bagel by advance order by the dozen (they are 1/2 size, we love these). Awkward parking lot. Terrible coffee.

The name has changed to Laura's bagels but the quality and prices are just the same. The staff are friendly and the bagels and spreads are freshly made. It is a weekend morning favorite.
