Salsa Con Fuego

Terrible service ! After making dinner reservations a week in advance we were still seated two hours after arriving! We then proceeded to order bottle service. We had to keep looking for the bottle girl throughout the restaurant instead of her checking on us, we never received our champagne. We paid for a hookah refill we never received. We were thrown out of a section after being told it was okay to sit there, only to be told it was okay to return there. This place is totally unorganized and the customer service sucks ! Nothing is here is good enough for such poor service (food and drinks are mediocre). My mom did not have a very happy birthday thanks to this place and not only will we not be returning (we were a party of 20) but I will be spreading the word to anyone who even thinks of going here!

Happy hour is the best to get a great deal on drinks and the empanadas are amazing! The DJ is great, the guest are mature audience and a great spot to have a good family dinner too. Every time I go there we have a good time. The environment is loud due to the music so don't expect to hear yourself talk! That's what salsa con fuego is about, it's about having tasteful entrees or meals and dancing! I love it that it's in the Bronx!

The food is terrible. Cold appetizers, rice was dry and bland, and over cooked steaks.. If you eat latin food often you will be disappointed.

The drinks were not great either. Overpriced and the bartender lacked the skill to mix a cohesive cocktail. The happy hour is almost worth it but you're walking around with 2 drinks if you dont get a fishbowl type drink.

The DJ was on point.

Overall experience was mixed. Although I enjoyed the music, i did not enjoy holding 2 beers. The food needs some work, I would not eat there again. You can get quality food and the clubby vibe elsewhere.

My husband and I paid for Alex sensation for new years eve who never showed, now he happpens to be be half colombian and half puerto rican, so all we were doing were requesting a colombian song, in a pokite and prigessional manner, I am a nurse, I am strictly professionaly, now for some reason they called back up"" on us (my husband and I) who are home bodies and decided that after 5 years of staying in with the kids that we should get out there, but this was ridiculous. Beyond all means. Nothing more irritating than a ghetto, rachette, couple. But that is what we were treated as when all we were doing was asking for a song request, I shoukd be damned to helle for just requesting a song??? Smh i gave ""the bronx"" a chance .. its what i get.... white plsins and manhattan all the way! There would have been some sort of resolution or communication at the very least... bronx management is clearly not yet experienced to handle ..... a ""song request""

Drinks total $452.00 including taxes.
The bartender charged us on top of that at the bar a total of $180.80 GRATUITY.
TOTAL AMOUNT PAID $$$$$$542.00

We were a group of four, and the night was going great until the we asked for the check. We didn't mind getting overcharged for the amount of drinks we had....that is done in at lot of places unless your keep a good count. Our frustration was the amount charge for Gratuity....

We were at the bar, we didn't order any food, THE BARTENDER - JUDY H didn't even had a conversation with us, was just serving us the drinks, you had no right to charge us a mandatory tip at the bar....you get a tip if you deserve it at the PATRON'S DISCRETION. We are still in chock of much the overcharged us.

THIS WAS JUST A TOTAL SCAM, IT RUINED OUR NIGHT, YOUR GUESTS DO NOT DESERVE THIS KIND OF TREATMENT.
