I had moved back into the area and found myself in need of a haircut, so my friend recommended her stylist Amina here at salon 5. I have never been too particular as to where I get my hair done, for me it did not matter what chair I sat in or who cut me, "just a little shorter, clean it up" is pretty universal. After this experience, however, I will never get my hair cut by anyone else. Amina was able to break me out of my normal 'do' and provide a haircut I was happy to show off, as opposed to one that was just there. Not only that, but our conversation surpassed the mundane small talk I was used to. Instead of just waiting for my cut to be done, I didn't want to leave the chair! Amina was easy to talk to, and I could tell she was actually listening, not just responding. Amina has definitely secured my haircuts for life.

Ive only experienced one of the stylists here, and I can say that Amina Robinson is now my stylist for life. Ive gone through countless hair cuts, barber shops, styles, and self modifications throughout life, and have never ever been satisfied with my hair. I even went through a long phase of shaving my head because I was so unsatisfied with any haircut Ive ever had. Amina had the right touch in the right places, knew where to leave it go, and where to work my head of hair the best, to finally give me the satisfaction and relief of a great hairstyle. She has a wonderful vibe that puts you at ease and lets you forget about your stress right from the start. Having her cut and style is more than just for looks, its a refresher for your whole game from the inside on out. She is now my permanent stylist and isnt allowed to leave this area, or Ill have to go back to simply chopping all of my hair off! Seriously no one else will do. Thanks Amina!!!
