Sacco & Vanzetti Bistro

The board says lunch special for $12 and when I get the check was $32

My Wife and I recently went to Sacco and Vanzetti Bistro. She had the pan roasted center cut pork chop with a little kick of hot peppers on it. My wife is a pork chop "snob" and she couldn't stop raving about it. She normally brings some home, but this time- she kept going back for more. She said that is was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of juices and it was so tender. There was not one piece that she ate the was tough. I went out on a limb and tried the Bronzino Filet. It was so delicious. There was not a piece left on it. It is on the corner in the South Village and its quiet enough to feel as if you are transplanted into another location. The service was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive and came around multiple times to check up on us and see if we needed anything. The interior was really cool. My wife is a history teacher and was loving all the photos of Sacco and Vanzetti. Very cool bistro in the heart of the city. I highly recommend you going to check it out if you are looking to eat delicious food that is reasonably priced.
