HORRENDOUS service. TERRIBLE food. RUDE argumentative staff. They regularly mess up orders and then scream at you telling you it's your fault. Never willing to accommodate and don't understand the meaning of the word "apologize." ZERO reason for anyone to ever step foot in this dump again. Even their delivery guy is nasty. Avoid at all costs and save yourself the aggravation.

The food is mediocre, the service is bad.
I used to go there sometimes for lunch special purely because it's close to where i work. their dumplings with red oil are NEVER well cooked, one time after my friend and i almost finished the whole dish found out the meat was still raw!!! (covered with a lot sauce couldn't tell). Don't be suprised if you have diarrhea if you eat there.
Today i went there wanted chinese vegetable, but the waiter told me they have chinese vegetable with scallops. i said, i don't want the scallops just the vegetable please. he said ok. Guess what later he bought us check he charged the disch with scallops! i was like, i said i didn't want the scallops you should only charge the vegetable price. he said, it's your choice you didn't want scallops, but you ordered this dish so is charged with the price with scallops. OMG are you kidding me?? the most expensive part in this dish is the seafood, you didn't give me any seafood and tried to charge me the same amount?? He started to argue with me(yes typical chinese restaurant attitude) and wouldn't change the bill. so i took the difference off the tip. anyway, it's ridiculous
Will never return.

I did not have high expectations coming here given it was housed in a Midtown hotel and there were not a lot of diners here on a Saturday noon. The decor was elegant and the servers were friendly enough.
When I got the menu, I expected the Midtown price and it was. My friends who came here before however enjoyed the food nonetheless. We started with the Sechuan wonton in spicy chilli sauce. To be fair, it is not spicy at all. I did like the chili peanut sauce and the dumplings although i wish it was spicier.
For main dishes, we tried the crispy beef and that is very delicious to my surprise. We also had sauteed loofah with scallops and that is also very good and reminds me of my hometown food! The BBQ pork bao (steamed) is also pretty good although you can probably find the same quality ones in Chinatown for cheaper. Their deep fried shrimp balls are crispy and light. That will be my recommendation too.
All in all this is a pleasant and clean Chinese restaurant that isn't noisy, dirty or loud. I like the ambiance and the food quality. This is good for a change if you want the good food without a trek down to Chinatown or Flushing.
