Rutgers Permanent Painting

I highly recommend Rutgers Permanent Painting. Our home in Maplewood needed a pretty extensive sand and paint job as it was at least 13 years since it had been painted. After getting a few estimates this Summer we decided to choose Rutgers whose pricing was competitive and offered a longer warranty than other painters. Kevin, the owner was not only helpful with color advice but also very responsive to any concerns or questions we had throughout the entire process. In addition, Marco, the foreman of the job and staff were so meticulous and neat that what could have been a stressful time was actually a pleasant experience. I cannot say enough how thrilled we are with the result of the job that was done and still get compliments on a regular basis about how great our house looks. Not only does Rutgers do a top notch job but it also gives back, which says a lot about a company.

Rutgers first painted our house in 2012 with permanent paint. We added an addition in 2015 and the came back and painted tha addition and added it to warranty. Both times the team was courteous and did a fantastic job. Only one person to call when you need painting (Kevin)

This is the second time I've used Rutger's to paint my home, this time with permanent paint. The last job lasted over 8 years, but I wanted a change in color and I needed to paint my new addition. Vince was very professional with the estimate and letting us know exactly what would be done. The crew finished the job quickly and neatly and I had no problems. It looks great!

We recently had the exterior of our home painted by Rutgers Permanent Painting (August 2015). The process that Rutgers uses includes removal of all old paint on just about every surface, including very detailed moldings and trim. The prep work was enormous and incredibly meticulous. The product that Rutgers uses is much thicker than commercially available paint, and therefore Rutgers is able to offer vastly longer warranties than most paint companies (our is for 15 years). The length of the warranty is determined by the thickness of the paint used.

Kevin Sheridan (the owner) was fabulous to work with. He was flexible, accommodating, professional, and transparent. His crew was hard-working, and masterful at their craft.

Rutgers was the most expensive estimate we obtained. But we are amazed by how beautiful our home looks now. What we paid for and received was a restoration of the exterior of our home. The exacting standards that Rutgers employs is worth every penny.
