I was going to come on here to write a good review, however, I'm annoyed and frustrated with this dealership I wish I had never gone there. Buying a car and getting a good deal is one thing. Buying a car with problems is a headache and something no one ever wants to be subjected to.
I purchased a car from Route 22 Nissan on Tuesday February 23, 2016 and when we initially looked at the car the tire light was illuminated. I told the sales representative and he replied " Oh don't worry it's because of the weather, that's why the light is on." I informed him, "Well I don't feel comfortable buying a car with tire problems, can they take a look at it?" He then took the car to the service dept. 20 min later he brought back the car with the same light on. He stated, "They put air in the tire so drive the car around and it will go away." After following his instructions the problem did not correct itself as he stated. THIS SHOULD OF BEEN TAKEN CARE OF BY NISSAN THE MIN I ADDRESSED IT.
Today February 26 I noticed a strange shape hanging from the tire, and the tire has a hole in it and it was IMPROPERLY PLUGGED by the service department.
I called the dealership TODAY FEBRUARY 26, 2016 to speak to someone and I cannot get a response. I was hung up on three times, and put on hold for over ten minutes. The last time I called they took a message for the manager to call me back.
I am angry and upset because this may cause the tire to blow if the service is not completed properly. I'm also upset because I brought this to their attention and it was not addressed properly, I was brushed aside. It shouldn't matter if your purchasing a pre-owned certified, new, or pre-owned used car. They should all be checked and serviced properly for safety. So to me this tells me that they DONT CARE about my well being and safety like they claim. They want the sale and that's it.
SO IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF AND SOLD A DEFECTIVE CAR THAT MAY PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK, GO TO NISSAN. IF YOU LOVE YOUR LIFE AND WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A VALUED CUSTOMER GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
