Nothing but good vibes at this local spot! The crowd is very down-to-earth. The bar tenders are full of positive energy and mix awesome drinks. It seems they reguarly screen surf films which compliments the atmosphere. This is a good spot to get involved with the local surf crowd or just meet awesome people if you're new in the area.

Common misconception is that the Tacoway and Rockaway beach surf club are the same business. So this review is based on the surf club. The Rockaway beach surf club has a very relaxed vibe with an excellent yard, with it custom made benches made from steel and recycled wood debris from hurricane Sandy. Its a great place to meet up with friends after a day at the beach or just to get one of their excellent margaritas. If your in the Rockaway beach area this place is definitely a place to visit.

Amazing place, best fish tacos (fried fish) at $3,50, lots of tables (with umbrellas) and seat, very laid back atmosphere, cool music. The juices are also really good, we took the pineapple mint and the pineapple drank. I wouldn't recommend the black been and cheese quesadilla, fish tacos with extra guac is the best!
