Robert Fiance Beauty Schools of New Jersey

If I could give this school -100stars I would.This isTHE WORSTschool I have ever attended.1st here's a bit of astory.I was happily attending the hair design school VERY close to home but unfortunately had got shut down.I decided my only option was Robert fiancé cause it was closest tht had night class.I should have just went to union to attend the hair design school again BUT decided to give this place a chance& now I REGRET everything.the commute sucked driving 30 minutes for a school tht wasn't worth it.I had signed up as a transfer&even though they were nice enough to give me all my hrs I ended up getting screwed every way possible after.i guess we can start withlooks&parking.Perth amboy is probably the worst spot&the parking is all metered.They dontcharge you at night but when I had to make up hours I had to pay even though I was paying enough for this school.I walked in & had to pay to sign up AGAIN.There are no lockers big enough to put in all the junk they tell you you must bring in a big suitcase(which 1 of the students actually got hurt carryingthose things in an XL suitcase&She sprained her ankle cause the bag got caught in the doorway)Not only that but if you did want a locker they would charge you 10 extra dollars a month & can only fit a jacket. It smells a lot in that place & the SINKS ARE ALWAYS CLOGGED. It's embarrassing to do a client & have to tell them their shampoo might be a little long cause you have to wait for the water to go down.They don't have a separate classroom for the sr's & we dont get any breaks at night.Sounds more like a correction center if you compare it to my old school which had big lockers a separate classroom & a break.Also when you sign in you have to sign in on a sheet that goes upstairs every week in hopes that MAYBE they will keep track of all your hours.Needless to say they messed up big time on a few students &calculated them wrong & the students had to stay longer cause of THEIR MISTAKES.At the time msCaputo was the supervisor & let me tell you that woman couldn't do her job right at all. She told me &my friend who had transferred wit me tht she would help us out.She had us in her office for a few days &then told us to go upstairs to the SR floor &we had to take test from the beginning of the book tothe end.They didnt let us start where we left off.We were not allowed to do any clients or learn anything for that matter. At a point I was taking at least 5 tests every few weeks in 1day just to get them finished.I learnedNOTHING in that school.When Iasked msCaputo why I had to takethese tests she told me it was to "help me".Really?Cause itdidn't.the staff upstairs.HORRIBLE&completely rude &you get a nice little attitude depending on what you want.I thought they were suppose to helpYou not squeeze every penny they can out of you.Everyone got an attitude from Melinda & it's like the other two are useless & can't do anything to help you if Melinda is not there. ACTUALLY they kind of don't want to help you because one told me "uh well you can just wait till she comes back tomorrow"Sorry I didn't know you couldn't tell me my hours but you can tell every student their hours during the day?THEN 1 day before I left I had the impression that I walked into that school with the grace HRs I had when I was in my old school since everything was suppose to transfer.So I wanted to make sure I didn't go over my HRs.Of course Melinda wasnt there.She then called me up the next day without me even going up there & told me to sit down so she can go over some things with me.So she then proceeded to tell me tht I owe money to the school cause I went over my HRs but they had failed to mention it when I walked in the 1stday of how many I had&they never called me up when I was getting close to exceeding my HRs.Not only that but they told me 2weeks before I graduate?Now I can't get my license cause they want the money.Which I refuse to pay cause you told the other transfer student she had the FULL amount of grace HRs but you tell me something different? WORST SCHOOL EVER. DIDNOTHING TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM

I'll give this school one star for effort and for the few teachers who do their job correctly other than that the school is poorly ran. First thing I have to say is do your research before choosing a school. I thought this school would be okay especially because of its location but I was wrong. Throughout the program I realized that the school is not worth the money I'm paying for. Starting from the basic needs, the school does not even have its own parking. You have to go through the hassle of putting quarters into a meter each day and half of the time the machines do not even work. Another thing is some teachers absolutely don't care, they are sending students to the next classroom without having their work or hours complete just because they have too many students in one class. So why is the director/school manager of the school even allowing that? Students are not properly learning whats on curriculum then if they are moving them with missing assignments.The same teachers who are moving up their students too quick are too worried about running around the whole school doing nothing that they go missing from their classrooms, how are students supposed to learn that way if they can't ask for help when needed because the teacher is not present. Another issue in that school is that rules just apply to certain students, yes that is called favoritism. Some students have control over teachers, if they say things are done this way then that is how they are done but the rest of the students need to follow the same rules that should be applied to EVERYONE. In the rules it clearly states that students should have all of their tools everyday if not they are to be signed out. But some students have to borrow everything cause they are not well prepared so why are they not getting signed out? There is so much more to this school but once again do your research before choosing.

Robert Fiance Beauty Schools of New Jersey has taught me so much. I can not wait to start my career in the beauty industry!!! Thank you Robert Fiance

I spoke with one of the representatives and he really didn't seem to like me that much. All I said was I was looking into another school and he tried to convince me to go to this school, so when I said I was going to visit the other one, he hung up on me

I graduated from Robert Fiance and I would do it all over again. I really recommend this school to any student looking for the best education and the best teachers. Overall giving the perfect 5 star rating based on my awesome experience with RF beauty academy.
