My go to pizza place from now on. Not sure what that other guy was talking about but I've always gotten great service from them. Their pizza speaks for itself, and always tastes amazing. You can really tell that they put the best ingredients into their food. Give it a try a one and I'm sure you'll be hooked. Great pizza!

Poor customer service. they took my order at 4:57 pm and I was told the would be here in 15 to 20 minutes. I called back a 5:42 to ask where the order was and I was told it was on the way. Minutes later, I got a call that my buzzer was not working. I went downstairs and no one was there. I called the restaurant and I asked where my deliver was and he told me that he left. Of course I was upset and asked if that's how they work and he said yes, that's how we work. I told him not to bother with the order and hung up. Minutes later there was a knock on my door and the food was being delivered. At 6:24, I told the delivery guy that we cancelled so he called and tried to speak with manager about a discount. He offered a whopping 15%, less than $3.
The worst part about it is that I live less than 5 minutes away from this place, literally right across the street. When it was Josephine's I never had this experience. The delivery guy was the only good thing about this.
The food was also cold. I could've ordered from the burger house, I know they don't deliver but at least it would be there waiting for me 15 to 20 minutes later.
Also, only get the pizza. It was ok if it wasn't cold. The mozzarella sticks were a joke and funny tasting, and the wings... I've had better, much much better.

In North Riverdale, you can not beat the Pie Guys. This isn't your run-of-the-mill processed-mozz / typical NY pizza place. These guys are on par with Lombardi's in SoHo or DiFara's in Brooklyn. Not only is their mozzarella fresh, they make it on site, taking a cue from Saluggi's in TriBeCa. Their food is fresh and in a class of it's own. Even better is that the proprietor's are close with the local bars (Jake's, Vigg's/Frankie's, etc) so what better way to keep down a session at a great local bar than to finish it off with a meal at the pie guys.
The only thing better than the ingredients at the Pie Guys is how the put together their pies. Their pie combinations are great as are their daily specials. They have something for everyone with their great entrees as well -- pasta dishes, protein entrees, meatless options, etc. Everything I've had from the pie guys has been amazing. I've tried all of the pizza options from the preceding pizza restaurants in this location and I'm glad we finally have an awesome pizzeria in North Riverdale.
