There is many annoying and irrational customers. Great deals on some items.

I used to love me some Rite Aid. They always had some of the best BOGO deals. True Buy One, Get Ones. Now it's more like BOGO50%OFF. But I shouldn't really complain. I did get 5 bucks towards a future purchase with it.
They did fall far behind CVS for easy redemption of coupon and cash back deals. But now they have a new Load2Card program that works better as a concept than in practice. Or maybe it's just that the cashiers aren't trained on how it works yet.
This location is rather cramped, but they do manage to keep it clutter free. Which is a feat in and of itself. But there are some things missing. They don't carry the full line of Revlon ColorStay. The darkest shade they have is Caramel. And that's my pale, in the depths of Winter skin shade. And I couldn't find the Rite Aid brand Exfoliating and Cleansing Puffs. At $3.99 for three, that's a very good deal, but maybe this store just doesn't carry it.
There aren't very many Rite Aids in the UWS, or in all of Manhattan for that matter, so just going to another location isn't much of an option. So I guess I'm stuck with this one. *sigh*

I stepped in to pick up a half gallon of skim milk, which they didn't have. It was very cold, and I saw they had some gloves for sale, so I purchased those, and a candy bar from underneath the register. On my way out the door with my girlfriend, I was stopped by a non-uniformed man who immediately began screaming at me. he was screaming so loudly I couldn't imagine he actually worked for the store. My first thought was that I was being held-up inside a Rite Aid. I wasn't that far off. He accused me of stealing a candy bar and tried to pull me into a "back room". I denied the charge, showed him my receipt for the candy bar, but he didn't care. When I emptied my pockets, he insisted that "you stole some candy and then dumped it before you got here". I told the thug that 1) When a customer picks an item up and then puts it back down before paying for it, that's called 'putting it back' 2) I hadn't even done that. Everything I picked up (gloves and caramello) I ended up purchasing, and 3) Why would I steal a candy bar and buy a second candy bar? He yelled, he threatened, asked if I was calling him a liar. I can only imagine the shake-down that would have occured had I actually followed him to a back room. The other employees did not restrain him, even as he threatened me physically. In short, the store personnel hired a psycho, and had I been alone I might have been robbed or hurt.

Very rude pharmacist, her name is Norma. Lack of common courtesy, even when speaking with medical office staff/physicians. Please call another pharmacy if you have an option. It is unfortunate this malady is common to many pharmacies; they should interview their staff better or pay them more to have a better selection of pharmacists.
