Red Roof Plus+ Secaucus - Meadowlands - NYC

I stayed here for a couple days last April during an impromptu NYC trip. The staff was super friendly and the rooms exceeded my expectations. I didn't bring my pup, but I noticed they allowed you to also bring a family pet along with you which I thought was super cool.

Great location I could see the met life stadium from my window. Truck parking available with easy access to Wendy's and subway across the street. Very clean rooms and bigger bathrooms than the normal red roof inns I been to. Would recommend to others especially truckers.

Was very surprised of the new renovations. Was not quite sure what to expect but I was happy that everything was newly renovated. Well decorated I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's 10 mins from NYC and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

We had the king size standard bedroom and it was a tight space but comfortable. The bed was so comfy. You couldn't hear any neighbors and the full room service menu is a plus.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. First of all, it seems like this hotel was trying to hide their dirty little secrets. I posted several pics with review on trip advisor and was removed because they didn't want people to see the truth since pictures will speak for itself. The bath tub was full of disgusting mildew, rust, stained and dried up black dust bunnies everywhere along with grouss cruddy stuff all over the wall, electrical outlet/light switch and hair dryer that is so nasty that can be bio harzardous with germs. Luckily we brought our own hair dryer and used tissues to turn on/off the lights. The floors were floating floors so we could see every tiny bit of dirt that has been sitting there during our entire stay which means did not clean the room at all but only the superficial stuff like fixed the bed.

We were 2 adults with 3 kids with 1 face cloth that was stained with make up so I decided to wash it to see if it was a permanant stain or a dirty unwashed towel and what do you know, it washed off as soon as I put in under runnning water therefore it was a towel left from the previous guest. We only had 1 facecloth for our entire stay. Just absolutely poor housekeeping.

Will never return again nor recommend to anyone. Unfortunately I couldn't switch hotels since I booked thru a 3rd party and paid up front with no cancellation policy.

Not great, but reasonable. Rooms were clean. No breakfast. Fairly close to nyc (short bus ride). They did let us park the car till evening after we checked out, which was nice.
