I'm surprised with the low star review. My girlfriend and I have been coming to Red Plum for years simply for the sushi.
The service is always great and hospitable and any of the food we have eaten is very tasty.
However, we mainly come here for the sushi and it is the best on mamaroneck avenue and believe me we have tried them all.
If you love sushi, hibachi, and a beautiful ambiance then please ignore the 3.5 star reviews from the snooty rich people.
5 star sushi. Need I say more?

I went to this restaurant a few years back for my birthday and honestly still holds a place in my heart, the atmosphere is laid back and chilled its has a post modern asian flare. with traditional twist, the sashimi was really fresh as well as the sushi the staff did a great job making me feel special on my birthday

Used to go a lot and the food was always great. However, the last time I went a mouse ran out of the kitchen and when I brought it up to the staff, they informed me "No, you didn't see that"....that was the last time I dined here.

This place has great food and one of the best bartenders in Westchester. If you order a mixed drink you will not be disappointed!
