Great dim sum without the loudness of other more popular places! Also without the hassle of ordering from carts, as you order off the menu. Quality of food is good, especially the shrimp dumplings! Decor is also nicer than other places.

Stumbled on this place based on Google Maps recommendation. And at first we were wary because it does not look like a restaurant let alone a Chinese Dimsum place from the outside. And the place inside is so unlike a Mott Dimsum place, it so clean and and I would not think its this dimsum if not for the Asian clientele.
The food was great, the golden fried rice was great and not greasy at all. The dimsum was great, even the hot oil is hotter than usual. We got recommendations from a very affable and so helpful asian waitress. My friends and I, jaded new Yorkers, agreed that the food was on point but the service from that bubbly waitress was really exceptional.

Pretty place in the center of NYC Chinatown. Alas the Shanghai dumplings were not up to par: the soup leaked out from 3 out of 5 dumplings in our order. We told the owner who bought us replacement. Unfortunately , the dumpling skins were equally fragile and had leaked the precious liquids leaving dumplings dried and tasteless.
A disappointment!
