One of my favorite places to visit while in NYC! This well-curated store has been a mainstay of the NY record store scene for decades now, and with good reason - decent prices (probably the best you'll find in NYC) and a friendly, knowledgeable owner who is actually helpful when assistance is required. This alone is practically unheard of in most other NYC record stores. Plus, it's located on an iconic block - that photo on the LP cover of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan?? Taken right outside the store in the street. Yep. Do NOT pass this one by...

Hidden gem with hidden gems. In high school I used to spend all my money here on rare Brit imports. Records, magazines, etc. Amazing they are still doing it. Support local businesses!

Still the greatest store for those who remember the days of "BANDS" and buying music! The best experiences in here have kept me coming back for 2 decades, support places like these!

Record Runner stood the test of time, and stands tall still. Before the internet was even a concept, Record Runner was offering the greatest selection of rarities from all the groups I love (Duran, Cure, etc.). I walked in there yesterday, and it's beautiful to see that they're still top in their game! If you come to NY, you must stop in!
