The fried Oreos are to die for, not kidding. You have to go here and try them! Also they were open during the blizzard so you know they're legit.

I ordered a half dozen beignets but the very kind old lady behind the counter gave me a full dozen for the same price. Excellent folks here.

Old World Chocolate ice cream, 4 bucks, giant portion, will keep you happy and entertained as you stroll through Tompkins Square Park. I love it when non-locals ask me where I got that ice cream, and I can send them over to Ray's. Also great: the hot dogs, and whoever is behind the counter. Places like this make me feel at home.

Food:
- Ice cream soda - $4, 6, 8 for for S, M, L - pricey for ice cream soda - I also never actually saw these specific prices listed (saw some conflicting other ones though). They use soft serve ice cream.
- Beignets - $4, 7 for1/2 dozen or dozen - It is fried, right when you order it - yum! A half dozen is enough for 2 people I'd say. They are more like munchkin sized zeppolis, with powdered sugar, then beignets as I'm used to dipping sauce with them.
Ambiance:
- tiny place to order to-go from
- there are 90s like signs and posters for the menu items everywhere - various desserts of the deep fried batter variety like you see during street fairs and Little Italy, as well as various soft serve ice cream based desserts
