If you can get in, take advantage of the opportunity because your chances are better getting invited to eat dinner with the president. You can try your luck with making reservations online but do not hold your breath. There is a reason why this place is so exclusive. It's known for catering the underworld and the most powerful. It has a bit of a dark history that makes it attractive and honestly your only chance of looking inside is viewing Leonardo Dicaprio eat with his lawyer on the Wolf Of Wallstreet. The tables at this attraction are owned and rented. I was lucky enough to dine with the exclusives only because my boss knew someone, who knew someone who owned a table. It was the best prepared meal I have ever eaten. I really felt like I was dinning in the old country. We ordered a mass variety of dishes and took complete advantage of the wine menu. This is not a place to be cheap, so be prepared to dine with extreme class and a heavy wallet. Everything this place has to offer is well worth it and delicious..

Believe the hype! It's incredible. Too bad you'll probably never get a chance to go unless you become President one day.

If your lucky enough to have dined here, you've entered into a small club of elite. This place does not take reservations or walk-ins, so you'll need to know someone who owns a time slot here. The tables are "owned" like a timeshare. Food was great, but the biggest thing is being able to brag that you dined at the original Rao's. For those less fortunate, you can travel to Las Vegas or LA, as those ones you can actually get into. NY is special, and flights aren't cheap... So you might be stick buying a jar of Rao sauce at the supermarket and calling it a day.

Why in the hell would I rate a restaurant that ordinary hardworking people can't get into. If they have the ability to stay in business without substantial money constantly coming in then u get one star. For lighting.

My wife, Nancy, and I dined at Rao's on the night of Monday, December 22. This was our third visit and, as usual, the experience, service, and the food exceeded our expectations. I have to be honest that a big part of the pleasure of dining at Rao's is doing something many people want to do but very few can. When I first learned about this tiny Italian restaurant in NYC, I called my American Express Centurion concierge and asked him to get me reservations. He explained to me that that was impossible and the only way I could dine there was to know someone who "owned" one of the 10 tables for a particular night. Not being one who easily gives up, I pursued this until I was able to find a friend who has been kind enough to allow Nancy and I to dine their three times. Add the thrill and excitement of being admitted to the most exclusive restaurant on the Planet to great food and incredible service, and you have one of the most memorable nights of your life. We hope to be returning to Rao’s for a fourth visit before too long.
