Rachel Kushner Dermatology

I specifically hose this Dr. because of the overwhelmingly positive feedback from her patients, however, I do not share their enthusiasm. I called to make an appointment because I was suffering from a severe flareup of dermatitis on my eyelids. I was told that there was an appointment available about two hours from the time that I called. when I showed up the waiting room was filled and I had to wait about an hour before I went into the examining room, and then another half hour before Dr. Kushner came in. This is exactly what I hate most about Dr. visits. The Doctor was kind and reassuring, and I held out hope that the medicine she prescribed would soothe my symptoms. I even asked if it would be okay to use it on my eyelids, and was told there would be no problem. When I filled the prescription and used the cream as directed, my eyes began to sting and swelled up until they were merely slits. I called the office to speak with the doctor and was told that she was not in and would call me the next day. When I explained that I was having a reaction to the medication, I was told that the PA would call me back. More than an hour later, I still hadn't heard anything and had to make another call. I am not at all happy, and will not be returning.

I thought Dr. Kushner was wonderful. She made me feel completely comfortable talking to her about my problem and she actually listened and talked about it with me. At no moment did I ever feel rushed through my appointment. She explained to me exactly what I have and how we should treat it in a manner I can understand. I am definitely sticking with Dr. Kushner. Also the staff in her office were great.

I love this office. The front desk employees and assistants are very pleasant and helpful. Jared is the main person who conducts my examination. He is always very nice, listens, takes his time and is extremely helpful. Every single prescription I have used from the office has worked exactly how it was supposed to. I believe it is because Jared takes his time and really assesses my issues and takes all the factors I explain to him, into account. He has also suggested non prescription ways to help my skin issues and they have been very effective as well. I never have to wait long to be called or in the examination room. Overall great office.
