Promenade Dental Care - Dr. Yiska Furman

Since the moment I walked in to Promenade Dental care I felt in good hands. Rachel is very welcoming and pleasant. Vielka, the assistant, is very caring and passionate about her job and Dr. Furman is very caring, gentle and informative. I felt in great hands! All in all a wonderful experience.

I can't believe how amazing Dr. Furman is. We needed to take our 5 year old son to the dentist.
He's a worrier... but we assured him that Dr. Furman is a nice lady and will only be cleaning his teeth... our 3 year old daughter insisted on joining for the ride...

I'm not exactly sure what went down - but my 3 year old daughter ended up getting into the chair for a cleaning, and my son keeps asking when he can go back to the dentist!!! It was like a visit to some toy store!

I have written a few restaurant reviews in my life, however I feel compelled to write my first doctor review. Having recently moved to Passaic County I needed a new Dentist, sadly saying goodbye to my dentist of 32 years due to distance. I had heard about Dr. Furman from a friend who spoke very highly of her experience with her. So, I made an appointment for a cleaning and some other concerns with a few teeth.

Upon entering I was immediately impressed by the crisp and refined layout of the reception area. The staff, both on the phone and upon greeting, was very welcoming, gracious and professional. As a patient considering Promenade for my long term dental care I requested to be shown the entire office. The Dental Technician proudly showed me the offices, the labs, the state of the art operatories (patient rooms) and the area housing the Panoramic X-Ray, also state of the art. A voice in my head said “Toto, we’re not in Kansas anymore.”

X-rays were taken while I relaxed in the most comfortable recliner with an HD TV at eye level. Yes, I said “relaxed,” not usually a word synonymous with “dentist visit.” Dr. Furman came in and I must say she has a manner about her that is warm like a grandmother with the infinite wisdom of Robert Young from Marcus Welby MD (before some of your time), except much younger. She did a very thorough cleaning and then asked me detailed questions about my dental concerns. She then showed me the x-rays in HD color and clarity right on the TV/ computer screen in front of me. Although the high tech equipment looks like something out of the future, Dr. Furman is very down to Earth. She was extremely patient and clear as she addressed various options for my situation, reviewing the pros and cons of each and answering all my questions. How refreshing!!

All I can say is my experience with Dr. Furman and Promenade Dental Care far exceeded my expectations. As long as I have a mouth it will be in their care. I highly recommend their professional services.

My experience with Dr. Furman has been as her assistant in the Brooklyn office. Dr. Furman is one of the most caring, meticulous, conscientious professional Dr. I've had the pleasure to work with. It was a very sad day when she left to open her very own practice. No need to wish her good luck, her outstanding quality work will speak for itself. Miss you Doc.. Keep being the perfectionist you are.

Office is new and beautiful with all the latest technology to make the appointment comfortable (massage chairs, TV while dentist working on you, etc).
Pleasant staff and easy to make appointments.
Dr Furman is great and I will definitely be back!
