One of my go-to pizza options in the neighborhood. Has your usual pizza topping staples as well as some specialty slices like buffalo chicken and ricotta-eggplant. Delivery is quick as well.

I have been going to this pizza shop since high school (1982) , it was a great place to get a slice of pizza for many years. A few years ago it must have changed owners maybe more than once, and now they serve old pizza, especially the specialty slices. I've walked in there as soon as they opened up and already there are a couple of half pizzas under or on top of the counter. They denied it of course but what other explanation is possible. Plus being rude and saying disgusting things in Spanish about two very young girls.I never ever go back to that store, it's a shame what happened to a great neighborhood eatery.

I have been a patron of this establishment for the last 15 years, so I've seen the changes that have occurred here over time.

This small neighborhood spot used to make really fantastic pizza. Unfortunately, 6 or 7 years ago it changed owners. The decor changed immediately (it used to be really cool obscure signed sports photos, changed to generic fake Italian atmospheric posters). So did the music -- what used to be motown and classic rock became lousy contemporary pop hits (played at much higher volume.)

For a while, the food remained good. In the last 2-3 years however, the quality of the cheese got noticeably worse but the sauce and crust were still good enough to make it worth it.

When I went today, I ordered two slices -- one cheese, one ricotta. I was told it would be 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, I walked up to the counter and the guy hastily stuck a slice of cheese in the oven. A minute later he pulled it out and handed it to me like I wouldn't notice. Of course, it wasn't really hot enough. But I decided not to make a fuss and grabbed my food and sat down.

When I bit into the slice, I found (to my dismay) that not only was the cheese worse, but the sauce was totally flavorless and the crust was soggy and bland. I kept eating, hoping it was just my mood or something and that I would realize the food was as good as always.

Needless to say, that did not occur. I regret not simply throwing the pizza away after the first bite.

There are many other better pizzerias in the neighborhood. The new owners ruined this place -- don't waste your money (because the prices are also pretty high.)

This is a great Italian restaurant to take friends, family and kids. It's got a very classic yet homey pizzeria interior with the wood paneled walls and fountain drinks. I have to compliment the current owners that you'll often see there. They are always extremely kind and courteous to my kids and put on shows sometimes that they'll enjoy on the TV in the back. Food is also solid here. Get the shrimp parmesan hero and ask for a little extra sauce for dipping. It's delicious. Pizza is among best NY style pies in town as well. Price is very fair, food is good, atmosphere comfy. Primadonna's is a hidden jewel in our part of Forest Hills.
