Prestige Car Rental

Me and my girlfriend rented the Hyundai Sonata for our weekend in NY, we made a reservation online about a week before the trip, and by the time we got there it took about 15 reasonable minutes to get the car and sign all the papers.
the car was clean and in really good condition, sleek drive, we enjoyed the service and the cheap rates. my girlfriend had a quick comparison with few other car rental companies and Prestige was the cheapest.
so i recommend and i will definitely go back there

The car itself was clean and a nice car. However the service was terrible! When I went to pick up the car I waited for 45 minutes until someone was able to help me. The woman acknowledged my presence and told me to "take a seat" the only seat in the place was taken by the man she was helping. I booked the car online. It asks where you are planning to drive. I was planning to go out of state. No where in the booking did it say there will be an additional fee for taking the car out of the tristate area. I was charged an additional $100 just because I drove out of state, even though they have unlimited miles. The hours on their website said they open Monday through Friday at 7:30am. It even says they open at 7:30am their Google Plus page. When I arrived at 8am they were closed. There was a sign that says they open at 9am Monday-Friday. When I tried calling the phone number no one answered and there was no recorded message with any information. There was no information included about after hours car drop offs on the website or posted outside the building. I waited. At 9:15am a man finally came to open up the whole place. He said hello to me and then disappeared. 10 minutes later he came back and asked if I was returning, since I needed to still pay for part of the car he called someone and they said it would be another 10 minutes until they arrived to help me. He was not able to help me. At 9:45am someone was finally there to help me. When I asked about the hours she said she told the owners to change it. When I asked about the posted hours she said nothing. I asked to be compensated for my time as this was not my fault and she said there was nothing she could do. The appearance of the business as a whole was unprofessional. I will not be using this company again.

We went on a trip to NYC as a couple, and knew that we had to transfer all of our luggage from our hosts in Brooklyn to our second hosts in Manhattan, the mid-size Nissan we took was perfect for our needs, good service. all in all great experience!
