A twenty-minute cab ride stretched out to forty-five minutes, an irate and mostly incomprehensible driver who either does not know or pretends not to know their way around Brooklyn, a screaming radio, and a fee twice as high as it should be. I would recommend using any other car service before this one, or better, to walk. You would get there in about the same time.

Car showed up on time, clean and comfortable with no overpowering scent, loud radio, or cell phone chatter. Driver was pleasant, smooth, and even explained that he was altering his route due to traffic, but fare wouldn't change and we would add just a few minutes to the trip but wouldn't have the stop and go. This was my first time in NY and was a bit fearful of being "taken for a ride", but was delighted with the reasonable price and great service. I'll definitely call Pratt next time.

I've been using Pratt for over two years, and love them. A lot of the other services in the area have really crappy cars and charge more to go the same distances. I've only had them come late once or twice. Usually the dispatcher and drivers speak pretty good English. Good rates into Manhattan too!
