I eat here regularly. Best Food in the Ironbound.

I've been going to Portugalia restaurant for quiet some time and always enjoyed their food and the warm friendly ambiance. I always go to the bar, but last Night I was pleasantly surprised.
I wanted a heart meal, so when checking the specials listed on the board I saw "Prime Rib Steak" which I found out is a Ribeye.
The steak was juicy and big, and it came garnished with the most amazing glazed potatoes you could ever imagine!

Best authentic Portuguese cuisine in Newark. If you are looking for "fancy" this is not place for you. If you want to savor the best Bacallao Lagareiro you have to look no further. Also worth mentioning pescada cocida con todos, and the sirloin steak will surprise you.
