Polished Beauty Bar

I popped in here this evening on a whim to see if they had time for a Mani/Pedi. They were super sweet about it and asked if I would be willing to wait 10 minutes. So glad I did. This is a very chill environment and the entire staff is very friendly. Very clean. Very welcoming. They had "Barefoot In The Park" with Jane Fonda and Robert Redford playing on the TV. (too cute!)

My nail technician was AMAZING! So good and didn't rush. Poor woman, too... I've neglected my feet for a long time. She was super sweet and she did a really beautiful job.

You can't beat the price either. I think there may have been a early weekday deal, but a perfect mani/pedi combo for under $45 in Manhattan is no joke. Definitely found my spot!

I was originally told over the phone that the gel polish was $35. So I headed in, not even an hour later. I got just polish on my toes (don't be fooled, it is literally JUST POLISH. No shaping or cutting). Then I got the gel manicure. My total was more than expected and when I asked for a breakdown the girl says the gel manicure was $41. I realize it not a big difference, but why was I quoted a different number an hr earlier? Not to mention, my toes chipped two days later and the gel manicure lasted less than a week! Not going back! Over prices for poor quality!

I believe some people judge others on how they pay attention to their personal hygiene, mostly their nails. I chose Polished to take care of my nails, simply because of the quality of service they give, well-cleaned and trimmed nails. The place is also very clean, relaxing and well kept. I mean, how you suppose to trust a messy place to clean your nails? Polished is simply great!

Being pregnant, I have been searching for a salon that really values cleanliness and quality, as well as offers safer nail polish products, and this place delivers on all fronts! The whole experience was wonderful and relaxing. I added on a massage was incredible! Polished Beauty Bar has just become my go-to salon!

You can get your nails done up in Zoya polish one of the top lines if you are into green beauty ( you can wear this polish when you are pregnant). Make sure you use turn massage chairs when you get a pedi, it is divine.
