I expected more from a place like this. I went in to dye a piece of hair pink. Instead i walked out with just a strip of blond hair. It upset me that the stylist can see it's not pink yet they'll smile at you and pretend everything is ok instead of doing their job again. Not to mention i have been here twice and they absolutely do not know how to straighten curly hair. My hair on both occasion turned curly immediately after i walked out the shop and i'm running home because my hair looks awful. I gave this place a second chance. I'm done and never returning.

Being from the neighborhood I've wanted to try Pilo for about 8 years but did not want to stray from Studio 19... I won a gift certificate and desperately needed a haircut- despite at least 4 friends saying they USED TO go here but stopped, I thought... it's a free cut why not. I read reviews and was told to use Mo- he did a great job. Then when I skipped over to the front desk with my gift certificate, I was told Mo did not accept these because he was a "executive" stylist -WHATEVER THE HELL THAT MEANS-. How was I supposed to know he craps gumdrops? I nicely explained that I was not aware there was a difference btwn a REGULAR stylist and a SPECIAL one. I'm sorry I did not go to LIBBS. A blonde manager was called over and she *immediately* went into ATTACK mode telling me it was not their problem that I thought I ould use my gift certificate. This woman was THE rudest, nastiest thing I have dealt with in a salon. I will NEVER go back there. I had intentions on bringing 2 freinds there for brazilian straightening but because of this CLASSLESS HAG I will make sure all of my friends and family know that there is NO customer service standard here- not even from a "higher up". This place should burn.

I have been going to her for YEARS now and she is the best I have seen as of yet! I am VERY picky and skeptical about how my hair would look but just trust her and you will be absolutely pleased! You have my word for it- no regrets! I travel from OH to NY to get my hair cut and its well worth it! It may be pricey- "you get what you pay for!" You don't even need anything in mind to suggest to her she will make you walk out the salon with your head up high with superior style!
