First time I went, I was planing to buy 2 glasses, but finally it was more expensive than I expected, so I keep only one. The sales guy seemed annoyed by my last decision. When I received my glasses, I discovered they gave me used glasses (probably from the showroom) and also they gave me a dirty old case. I asked for a new one and also I called later to ask for a new frames because this one it was visible with signs of use, they say yes, but nobody apologized.

When I went to pick up the second glasses - theoretically new -, the guy that assisted me the first time ignored me. I saw the new glasses, in the same conditions, used. Also, I just discover these glasses were for men, instead for woman. Pin eyeglasses tangles with my hair, because these glasses are for men. Also, customer service are not the best. 1 star for a nice girl, that it was the only one she was nice in my last visit. Several months later, these glasses give me headaches, terrible experience. I am so regretted to have done business in this place. Never again.

Went here this morning--by 9:15 am the place was packed. Reuben was great. I wanted snazzy glasses still befitting my age and he helped my pick out some wonderful frames (dismissed one as "they make you look matronly"). Reasonable prices--great selection.

Pildes, both upper west side and Short Hills is a treasure, if you appreciate fine customer service.
I have an unusual and complex situation with my eyeglass prescription. For years I accepted my
compromised vision through my glasses. Then, four years ago, I found Pildes. The staff are all experts, and they immediately had the answer to the problem with my prescription. Since then, I
can see perfectly!!! They have truly improved the quality of life.

This is a great place. I needed contacts over night and they were able to get them to me over night. The service is great and they do not rip people off either. I highly recommend it to anybody.
