Parkng lot! Park here to enjoy the west side. Prepare to pay ALOT.
Not many parking lots in the area that allow you to enjoy the west side. This is the place to be for Pier41 and the sports, docks and events.
It's easy to pull in- park and leave.
Safe and well lit.

This is for the Free Kayaking service as well.
They provided everything: life vests, sunblock, aloe vera gel for sunburns, kayaks, and kayak sticks.
The ones in charge of the event were VERY nice and helpful. I've never kayaked before and was scared to do it. But they assured me not to be scared. One even came up to me as I was kayaking and asked if I was still scared. They're there to protect you from wandering too far/ answer any questions. Amazing!
Fun experience but I did not wear a swimsuit. You don't need to for the top but def bring a change of underwear/pants.
It was fun but I felt very dizzy afterwards haha.
Will go again!
