I highly recommend taking lessons with Issac.
He has always treated me with the utmost kindness and respect. Taking the time to get to know me, and then tailoring his approach based on my individual learning style. He has always remained positive and patient, and his passion for music has inspired me to keep coming back week after week.
He continually goes above and beyond the call of duty, encouraging me to grow as a both a musician and as a human being. I can’t imagine anyone not benefiting from from his teachings.

As an intermediate student of jazz, I wanted to improve my sight reading. Isaac Cohen has a fantastic ability to identify where I’m at and keep it interesting by suggesting the types of music that I’m interested in. My sightreading has improved immensely in a short time and it has made a major impact in my overall playing. His attitude is always positive and he’s helped me bust through some frustrating plateaus and roadblocks. Regardless of what stage you’re at in your development, I highly recommend working with Isaac.

Coming from only an elementary school background in music education, Isaac has been incredible in setting solid foundation for growth. He has such a great way relating many types of music and theory into every lesson. He has been the knowledgeable and supportive teacher i was looking for.
