Misled on phone, stated service charge of $90.00 would go towards repair cost, this was untrue it was stated as in addition to repair costs by serviceman.
Serviceman was courtesy and a nice guy, unfortunately he works for the wrong firm. He did locate the repair issue however because a part was necessary for the repair Phil advised him to go to his other calls and try to get back to us later in the day, not very reassuring to say the least. When he told us this I expressed we would like the repair completed for the $189.99 as stated but we would like our work completed before the next service calls, he called back and Phil told him if we wanted that we would have to pay an additional $50.00. Phil would not speak to me, I called back and reached his wife or daughter, a family member, who stated that was my only option because they would need to pay more for the part locally.
Needless to say I asked the serviceman to not return for the repairs.
It is now 3 hours later, my repair is complete ac unit is back up and running by a trust worthy company. The piece in question cost a total of $32.00 was picked up locally within 15 minutes, the repair cost me $50.00 less than Phil's original quote.
I suffer from constant severe headaches and head pains and the need for a speedy stress free repair was so important to my health.
