Years ago i when I received Christ, there was this song by Donnie McClurkin and Pastor Winans. I played it to death... I wasn't wanted to met Pastor Donnie. Well, 9 years later I relocated to Freeport, NY and hadn't found a church to fellowship. many people said there's a church over in Roosevelt you should go to. You might enjoy it. After almost a year I finally got up one morning and said I'm going to church and I'm going to that church. When I walked in, I was greeted by "family". It was as though I had been a member there all my life. I sat down and the congregation was so welcoming. Then I looked up and saw Pastor Donnie McClurkin sitting. I can't lie, I googled this church and was amazed that God had put me in this city, to be this close to hear the man whose singing voice help water my spirit and now I'd be watered by his preaching!! The other pastors preached with such spirit... I miss this church since relocating back to Florida.

This church will show you the experience of god but in nice ways and fun ways they have fine arts which has dancing drama and more it is so great

I had been yearning to go to this church. Came to New York from Alabama in Dec/07. A Born Again Christian from the Henry Fernandez Ministries out of Florida, just any type of preaching wouldn't do. I told myself after visiting a couple of churches, if it wasn't Creflo Dollar Ministries or Perfecting Faith Church I wasn't trying anymore churches in New York City, where Christians go to church, just to go to church. On Sept/1/13 God set me up. My hair was done, I had clean clothes, gas in the car and two dollars in my wallet. I had no excuses. I got up and worshiped and God tugged at my heart. I woke up my two sons and asked them to go with me as I was afraid to get lost. I also wanted them to go as they hadn't gone to church in years because church folk in this city in our experience had been so vile and wicked it had turned the children off of church.
So we got to church and we could hear the man himself singing on the pulpit from the street. I really didn't even expect pastor Donnie to be preaching, figured he would be out touring or something. Let me tell you, my heart was nourished, my soul was revived and I will never be the same. The members were altogether sweet and real. The ministry was for real y'all. My sons were clapping (19 & 22 years old) and praising and laughing. Pastor was so real and candid and transparent, I knew immediately that I had found my church home!! The icing on the cake, visiting this day was Mrs. Wade, D-Wade of Miami Heat fame's, mom. I knew that I not only wanted to be a member of the church I wanted to work in a professional capacity helping this ministry to grow. As a Marketer I saw so many opportunities where I could be of service. Since I left Service, my heart has not stopped dancing, looking forward to the bar-b-q and movie night next weekend.
