Pearl Restaurant

We passed Pearl many times on our way to our Ridgewood favorites and were finally drawn in one evening. All I can say is, "Wow". The food was amazing. Fresh pasta was definitely something we were craving and the sauces and flavors of the linguini and little neck clams was out of this world. The staff's attentiveness and service were all top notch. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

Best salmon I ever tasted!

We came here on a Thursday night since we had a Groupon. The restaurant quickly filled up and based on overhearing conversations, everyone was there with the same deal. The BYO + ambiance, including lighting, music and tables, are the highlight. The most disappointing aspect was the service & food (I think we had 4 different people as our servers throughout the meal!). This was our first time there and we asked the server for some guidance with the menu... recommendations? spice level? and he quickly brushed us off by saying "Everything is great!"-- and noted on a particular entree that it was not spicy. The salad arrived and I think there were 6 pieces of lettuce. My husband and I jokingly called it the Groupon Salad, since the "value" was $7.95, but if we had actually paid that, we would have verbally complained. Our entrees finally arrived and I wasn't able to eat my entree because it was very spicy, although described as the server as "not spicy at all!". I ate my husbands overbooked salmon. It looked promising but we will not be going back.

This is an amazing establishment!! The food is great, seasonal changes keep patrons constantly amazed at the chef's ability to deliver a fabulous dining experience. Max, is cordial, warm and friendly, Momma and poppa, there to assist with what ever you could need. The wait staff is equally good at providing a truly all in dining pleasure.
