Reviews to Pearl Oyster Bar
Skip the appetizers and go straight for the main dishes. Very small bar space with counter seats and a small table service area adjacent to the bar. Gets very busy during prime dinner time. Prices were pretty high, but that's expected for a popular restaurant in West Village.

Pearl isn't really about the oysters. It's really about the fresh, delicious fish preparations. Sure, you can get oysters, fries or shucked, and they're good, but forgettable. I recommend the grilled whole fish... And save room for a chocolate sundae for dessert!

Took a date here once and been coming here ever since. They have excellent Lobster Rolls and very fresh half shells. A lil expensive, cramped and sometimes a long wait; but well worth it if the moment is right.
You might have to call your date on headphones to chat since it's not the perfect place to hold a conversation. It could get a little noisy at times.
For me I come for the food, which is always stellar.

Incredible Lobster roll and oysters. The French fries, that comes with the loster roll, are also a must. There is a very detailed list of wines to match your meals. The staff is extremely nice. The venue is pretty busy and victim of its success, so arrive early or be reasy to sit at the bar.
