Park Bar is great on weeknights if you can get there immediately after your 9-5 and are able to snag one of the few candlelit tables. Otherwise, you'll be packed into the cramped area around the bar. It's also great when they play back-to-back Michael Jackson hits. Otherwise, you'll be screaming over a less-awesome song because they don't skimp on the volume.
The crowd and comfort-level of this place is hit-or-miss, but the $$$ cocktails are consistently well-made and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I'm ALMOST hesitant to leave any review for this place because I don't want a ton of people to know about it, but then I also want to see this place not go anywhere. This is a small, yet quality spot. All candlelight. Great music. Cool bartenders. You'd miss it if you weren't looking for it. But maybe that's a good thing. Very chill vibe and one of NYC's better hidden gems.

My first review got to be for Park Bar! Not really into bars and beers, but this bar got me with their burgers! The burgers are just delicious. I completely went out the bar with a full stomach. Would definitely visit Park Bar again.

This is a super chill bar right off of union square. Dark, small, quieter place. Good for a date or small group. The drinks are tasty and reasonably priced.
