Paramus Hyundai

Alright. Here's the deal. I'm searching for a Mazda 6. I found a great deal here at Paramus. I call them up to talk about the condition of the car "It's amazing! 10/10! Like new!" I should also note that I live 200 miles away from the this dealership... but they had the perfect car and the perfect price. So before I take a long haul down to look at it I ask them to prepare a final price with all their fees.

OVER THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF FEES. FEES YOU'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF. I've been shopping with other dealers and have NEVER seen this kind of insane BS. I call them up because I think it might actually be a mistake. Nope, this is what they tell me "This is what we do to all of our used cars. Actually, we usually don't tell people about that 1,500 fee until they're signing." No joke, this is what the guy is telling me on the phone.

There were a bunch of other sketchy problems... I'm not going to waste my time typing them all out... but seriously. This is by far the worst dealership experience I've ever had. Total joke.

Also... you'll notice that all the ratings are either 1 or 5 stars. This is typically indicative of a bunch of paid five star reviews with real one star reviews. I bet you my entire bank account that 95% of these 5 star reviews are fake.

I am an Equus owner. I had brought my car here three weeks ago. My car had a steering wheel problem. So I made a service appointment and was told that free loaner car during the service. I went to Hyundai Paramus the next day and was told that I had to rent a car and pay for that. So I told the service rep that I heard the loaner car when I made a reservation on the phone. The service rep said, "It could happen". At that point, I was upset regarding how I was treated.

Next day I got a call from Hyundai Paramus to pick up my car. So I went there and was told that they could not replicate the problem. So I paid for the rental car and got my car back. Basically I wasted my money and time for nothing. So I was upset again.

3 days later, I had reviewed my credit card statement and found that Hyndai Paramus charged additional $23.15 as a separate transaction. I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. This kind of things usually happen on notorious used car dealers. All customer, please review your credit card statement carefully if you get services from Hyundai Paramus.

Take your car here once for service and you'll be stuck taking it every month.

I have a 2008 Veracruz and I had no option but to bring it to the dealership for a part that only dealerships could provide. They left my car outside and when I went to pick it up the battery was dead (what a coincidence). They tested the battery, told me it was fine and two days later my car was dead again (I ended up buying a battery elsewhere, thanks to them draining my battery). Since taking my car here the first time I haven't gone a month without my check engine light going on and having to pay them over $1000 each visit (because if I don't they wont release my car).

The only good thing out this place is Annie, who is the best service agent in the place. Without her I'd probable take it to the only other Hyundai dealer I know (DiFeo Hyundai on 440 in Jersey City)

Hyundai Of Paramus, you really need to train your salesman or your employers to do a good job so your business goes well for a long period of time. This type of rating is unacceptable and people who live around this area except you guys to show respect to them while they enter in your dealership. I hope next year goes well for you guys if you plan to train your employers to address people properly and not think about money too. God Bless you guys.

Ronmer and the entire staff here were incredible. I reached out to them early in the week and went in on Saturday with the hopes of leaving with a new Jeep, as my previous lease was expiring. Not only did I get the car I wanted, but they worked with us on the numbers and got it down to a fair number that was within our budget and better than I had found anywhere else. I am beyond satisfied with the high level of customer service we received here and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new car and a pleasant buying experience!
