Really nice bookshop. I find something interesting every time

This is an excellent bookstore.

There's a fine selection of books.
I regularly leave with something
(such as vintage or retro comics and novels) that
I didn't go in for, as well as what I did go
in for. I'm usually looking for fiction, poetry,
literary criticism, mysteries, general reading.
And then there are the art books, and the
gifts-in-themselves cards, and other things...
There's such a pleasant feeling of discovery
in visiting this place.
One suggestion: be a little more aggressive
in getting mysteries/thrillers re-shelved in
alphabetical order. I've found this to be true
in many bookstores—that 'mysteries' in
particular sometimes lags behind others
in this respect. Maybe especially lengthy
browsing in this case (it's right next to Science Fiction)?
This isn't a tiny bookstore, but it's
small; the sections are nicely arranged
so that you get exposure to a variety of
offerings (such as new arrivals and signed copies)
as you go looking for something else.
The atmosphere is great. You can
browse and read without any sense of
rush. It's quiet, it's peaceful, there's no
jarring music, and there's a sweet and helpful
young woman who works there. I'm glad to
see her as soon as I walk in.
All and all, a bookstore experience I always
look forward to!
