P.S.78 has come along way and its unfortunate that the kids have to suffer with all the none and limited activities that is there for them. When my first child went to this school he had an after school program he used to attend called BELL, he had GYM, but unfortunately now that my daughter whose in the 3rd grade this year, she has no GYM. Yes no physical activities. Why?? because they could not fit it in the third grade schedule.
The Principal of the school is very cold. I have a better relationship with the Assistant principles. They even know my child by first and last name, they greet me each time they see me throughout the building. Too bad I cant say the same for the Principle.
The teachers how ever are hard working. Some of them want to see your child excel others rather sit and have the students take over the class.
Is this the best school for my child. No...but at the moment it is convenient for my family and I.

try them out. and be involved make suggestions on way the school can do better.
Think of fund raisers to add money into the schools so the students can have a gym.. with equipment's, Laptops, computers etc.
Learning starts at home... Cant depend on the teachers then want to blame the school in the end.
