P.S. 21 Crispus Attucks

I attended PS 21 back in the 70s. I completed grades 4 through 6th grades. Mrs. Vinson was my 4th grade teacher and while she was stern, it was extremely worthwhile. Mrs. Isabel Sanford was the Principal back then and she was extremely motivational and indeed someone to look up to. I formed many relationships during years at PS 21 and learned to jump double dutch competitively as well as African Dance. My family moved to North Carolina a year after leaving the school. I attributed my study habits and love for the written word to the teachers and all that I learned at PS 21 way back in the 70s.
