P.S. 183 DR. RICHARD R. GREEN

I currently attend this school. I would say it's an average Elementary/Middle School. My experience in the school had it's ups and downs but my most down was at the end of last year. I had a teacher named Mr. Anderson who said things to me which would imply that i was homosexual. Besides that fact, i have gotten great grades but this year i have a math teacher who the way she teacher i can't seem to understand. I recently received a failing grade in her class on my progress report. The same thing happened to the majority of my fellow classmates. I am trying to understand how i can do these things but i will try my hardest to figure out how

Some of the teachers are really well at teaching where as others should find a different profession. Mr. Anderson and Mrs. G Brown were my favorite teachers, they taught very well and provided help when it was needed. I wasn't able to take my algbra examination due to Ms.N Brown being pregnant, which had no logical reason as to not take it. A sub could have taken her position while the exam was in session. I had to take an algebra class in freshman year,when I could have been taken Geometry. I have no idea what science is being taught here, I'm currently in high school and I'm taken earth science along with living enviornment. As a student who was in an "honor roll" class (ex: 801), it had no benefits ,my classmates take chemistry and elective science where as I take freshman courses because I wasn't taught the science mentioned earlier in middle school. The same goes for social studies, I feel so behind in everything due to the lack of teaching history here at P.S 183. Whenever I am asked if I learned about the American Revolution, I say no. And it's true, I didn't learn anything. Not all the teachers are bad at what they do, some actually have a passion for teaching whereas others are racist and are only here for the money.
This school is dreadful.

I used to come here! But I moved..I MIGHT be coming back! Ms. Coputo was my Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Doran: 1st Grade. Ms. Gormley: 2nd Grade. Ms. Mcaloon: 3rd grade. Lastly, Ms. Chan: My 4th grade teacher! I am now in a different school in 5th grade!

This school is amazing you have sweet and educational teachers who want the best for you if you go to this school you'll love it they have great teachers like
Mrs.Chavies Mrs.Sarni Mrs.Jean-Bart Ms.Chan etc. but all the teachers at this school including the principles they are amazingly Educational Fun and Sweet this is a great school you would enjoy and love to go to You would enjoy it

love this school. The teachers are wonderful they do step by step directions and give u extra help if you have trouble or are failing a class. they prepare me and other for the state test so when it came it was easy they also encourage students to study and read for fun. As all school have their ups and down. But every time something goes wrong they fix right away. And they pay attention to every student and treat them the same way. They also encourage student to be themself and to be nice. Once they even had ball room dancing we learned how to have respect for myself our teachers all when we where dancing. This school us the right place to send your kids I'm a t student and love it here my teachers are the best ms.chavies and ms.sarni. ms.chavies is not a biracial teacher accepts all color or culture. She does not tolerate rudeness. So if you coincider that as being racist you are wrong. She wants all her students to pass and treatea them equally
