Otto's Shrunken Head

Otto's is my home away from home here in NYC. Considered a "punk rock tiki bar" it has a lot of love for its heritage in tiki culture, and really looks the part. The bartenders are all amazing and yes, they can take a while to get your drink... but keep in mind, their tiki drinks take a lot more work than your average round of beers. Tip well, treat em with respect, and you'll be taken care of with well-poured drinks and love.

Live music most nights in the back ranges from amazing rockabilly, surf, country, punk etc... to some things that just hurt your ears... dont be disappointed just because one night may not be your cup of rum, there's always something else tomorrow. They keep their website calendar updated so you can always plan ahead.

I love going to this Tiki bar. No matter what the weather is you can be captured by an amazing Tiki cocktail. The drinks are crafted well balanced and an array of Tiki mugs to fit the setting too! Has a dive feel which makes it casual and approachable for anyone.

One of my favorite bars in New York! Super fun, kitschy atmosphere with fun cocktails and decent beer. Get the (glowing) Pang's Punch. First Saturday's are SURF NITE with Unsteady Freddy - not to be missed.

I was beside myself with how much I enjoyed this bar. There was live surf rock in the back and frozen daiquiris up front in what felt like one of the few ungentrified bars in new york. This was an absolute escape
