Love the tartufo and the meatball pizza, my two favorites! It's lovely to sit in the sun in the spring or summer and enjoy small platters or pasta after a walk in Central Park. I live across the street and this is my go-to place, especially for take out.

The large bar area downstairs and the various connected rooms upstairs make up a rather space unique in the UWS. A bit dark, but generally manageable, although there are tables where it's too dark to read the menu, let alone see what you're eating. What you will eat is quite good and most certainly satisfying.

Really good cheese selection, the tartufo is delicious and the room upstairs in the back is perfect for an intimate date or a friends chat. The front bar is great to meet new people or just chill out watching the street. We also had brunch here, with mimosas and polenta!

I've been here twice and enjoyed the atmosphere both times. The first was more of a pizza and beer night a few months ago and everyone enjoyed the food. The second was for a late afternoon lunch after a long day of travel. I got the Caesar salad and shared the meatball pizza with a friend. The food was just as good as I remember from the previous visit.
