Origins Tutoring

Daniel worked over the spring semester with Scott preparing for the ACT. He started at a composite 29 and jumped to a 33!! Daniel worked really hard, but he could not have reached his goal without Scott, whose instruction and advice proved invaluable.

Scott was very influential in helping me do my best on the SAT. My biggest concern going in was the math section, as I kept getting scores that I was not happy about when I took practice tests. After two and a half months of tutoring with Scott, I started to understand some of the more difficult math concepts that had gone over my head when they were taught in class, and I also learned some test-taking strategies that were extremely useful in helping me hone in on the right answer. I started to see my scores begin to increase, which really motivated me to keep studying. We also worked a little on improving my grammar and essay-writing skills for other parts of test. I felt very supported working with Scott and he was a great motivator. I recommend Scott if you are trying to improve your scores significantly and if you also want an enjoyable SAT test prep experience.
