I booked an appointment for a couple's day spa this past Thursday. It was my husband's birthday and I booked us a couple's day spa with Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar. We both work, and took the day off for our appointment. We live about an hour away from the spa, and were running a few minutes late because we were stuck in traffic. When we called to let them know we may be about 5 minutes late, the receptionist told us that there was no reservation under my name. I explained to her that I made the appointment last week, the took my credit card to confirm the appointment, and confirmed the date and time with me. After putting me on hold to figure out what happened, she said that someone booked me for next week, and had us in on the wrong date. I explained to her that we were only a few minutes away and took the day off work for my husband's birthday and this was a gift for him. She told me that they were completely booked and there was nothing they could do. My husband and I wasted a vacation day from work, took an hour drive to the spa, and weren't given any type of resolution for their mistake. It completely ruined his birthday and what was supposed to be a relaxing day for both of us, turned into a frustrating and disappointing day. I would never recommend this spa! They made the mistake and did nothing to try to help us out. Absolutely horrible customer service!
