Ask for a room facing two iconic towers: The Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building.
Good hotel not too expensive for New York.
Walking distance to the UN Headqarter (worth a visit!)

I am really really happy to have stayed in this hotel. The service here was excellent and all hotel staff were above and beyond friendly. I want to especially thank the Bell staff who were so kind to me and may daughter and went so far as to lend me a stroller so that my daughter would not tire out while we went sight seeing.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the first day, we arrived around 2 pm and naturally the room was not ready so they held our bags for us so we could explore the city. My daughter and I returned around 10pm and they had informed us that they were at full occupancy so had upgraded our room (I prepaid with AA miles). We ended up in a gorgeous 2 bedroom suite with breathtaking views of the Chrysler bldg and empire state as well as the river.

I highly recommend this hotel, not just for the quality but for the service and the generous attitudes from all of the staff! Thank you.

The people were great and the view was amazing. We booked early off priceline and received good deal although no idea what hotel we were getting, very happy with the choice. Our first time is New York so we had no clue. The person greeting us at the taxi was Robert, AMAZING EVERYTHING! Sweet, knowledgeable, considerate, just can't say enough. He made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. The rooms are a little outdated but they are working on that right now. We would stay there again! I hope this helps.

Went to Check in sept 17 . Had already paid in july for me and my husband's 10 year wedding anniversary. ...... long line to check in then when finally greeted by sumg unhelpful staff that litterly gave me the middle finger when I asked to speak to a manger! A manger named erica came just awful customer service skills horrible manger, (I would name her supervisor but she gave me a middle funger from the back office and refused to speak w me or give a name!!!). She informed me (keep in mind its 345 pm check in is 300pm) that somone was still in our room and wouldn't leave!! they told me and my husband that they would have to get the police, to eject him! Now this was told to me after a friece complant from me at the front desk to speak to the highest manger because they would not tell us what was going on and we had to be somewhere at 7pm !!! When the higher manger wouldn't come out from the back I said you have horrable customer service skills and are just plain bad with ppl. I then was comfroted with secerty over 30 minutes after this while still waiting for them to get our room ready*( because they didn't know a man wouldnt leave our room* security men apporcaed me with erica a mean horrable manger who because I told her and supior who wouldn't comne out to speak to me but fliped me off from the back!!! I was being told they would kbow throw me out of a hotel I had been waiting over 2 hours to get my room on a ten year wedding anniversary** after my husband took over with that the security men said they were sorry then helped us 2 our room... the room had great view but that was it we didnt get in till 6 pm!!!!.. for the price 500 dollars a night was no worth it. On top of it I get a town car from the hotle and it dosent picck us up that night and I paid 75 bucks cash thar they are sending in a check when I had cab recite and recite from the purchase! !! Horrable just horrable I cried because of this hotel and I stay all over nyc . No place has ever been so awful. With customer service snd rooms and just knowing what rooms have checked out and whats going on in ur hotel. Pool closed gym dirty no restraunt hardly a bar.. so they advertise lies!!!! & to top it alloff the money put down on security for the 2 nights over 500 dollars four daus after check out ot went in my bank and thwn they took it from my bank agian 4 days after check out. They blew me off when I calledso I had yo call my bank to dispute this horrable theft of money!!!!! Awful just awful outdated and expensive snd they cant even run their hotel. Awful . ThThey runied my 10 year . Made me cry and then agrued with me and tried to blame me horrable ppl! Horrable place liars and theifts!! Stay away go to london hotel or the strand!!!! I give this place a negitive 100

Really nice hotel, our family had a great 4th of july, the view was also great. Will be going back when pool is remodeled.
