Oh dear Poland in Greenpoint i love you. You welcomed me with great food and Northside bakery is a gem. Good bread, great people. they also have a counter with prepared food that is cheap and delish! Try the cutlets with a side of potatoes and cole slaw, $5 and dinner is ready. You can either bring it home or eat it there, they have few tables available. the best table is the one next to the medieval armor ;)

This place is more than just a bakery. Though their bread is good and always fresh, a neighborhood joint for easy dinner or lunch in the area. Value is fantastic: pork cutlet some pierogie and two salad sides is under $10.00. Polish comfort food. Killer borscht too.
