How could anyone NOT love this place??! Perfect location in Alphabet City, this smooth little affordable diner is open 24 hours and serves up fantastic breakfast specialties all day, plus all the usual classics. Probably not the best place if you have imaginary food sensitivities but if you're 'normal', you'll find something to love in the gigantic menu. Plus they serve beer and wine. Staff is friendly and patient with all the drunken antics from the nearby East Village bro-douches and their dimwitted girlfriends. Highly recommended.

I went there for breakfast. For 10 bucks I had a massive order of pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon, everything very tasty. Most of the clients are locals, which is always a good sign.

$15 brunch includes coffee and beverage of your choice. Used to be $11. No thrills, just solid food and service. Get the egg salad triple decker.

Heheheh my hubby took me here first thing when I arrived in America. I was so sleep deprived and jetlagged I was utterly out of it. They were very friendly, and when I accidentally ordered something I hated at first sight; they were nice about it and fixed it to something less dangerous. Can't have folks fresh off the boat barf all over the floor :-). At least that's how I remember my first meal in the new country. Legendary, highly recommended.
