First met Mr.Davis more than 50 yrs ago when I was 16.Imho sure he can be a little harsh at time's,I can relate,anyone else? trust me he has good reason to be,the man I knew but it's been 5 year's since last there,is a big guy,but a teddy bear with a heart as big! That said back in the day,always respected his mechanical ability's,jeeze old school and new by now he must be a cycle professor lol.

I used multiple bike shops in Nutley, Clifton area, and this was the best bike shop. The store has two persons, an older guy and a young guy. They are very helpful, and the cost of repairing anything was reasonable. The best thing is that, they do not perform the dishonest practice which are performed by many many bike shops. That is to try to push you to buy/reapair expensive parts by insisting how dangerous your bike's status is. The only thing is that, they close often, so make sure to call them before you go to the shop.

I just moved to Nutey and went there at 2:30 on a sat and the owner was RUDE and stated that he will not fix it until Thursday because he "has a life too". I went up the riad to Brookdale cycle and they were cheaper and fixed it in 25 minutes. Sad part is that I wanted to like this little shop as I believe in supporting capitalism but the owner is rude and does not at all appreciate his customers. I do not plan on going back....
