My first impression was that the shop owner whom I emailed with questions prior to visiting the shop was so helpful and friendly. She gave me feedback on what I was looking for in terms of space and utility. In the end, after much searching, I purchased a beautiful piece in her shop that was already a lovely color but was not what I wanted for my room. She repainted and distressed it for me to my liking [in the middle of a snowstorm] and it is gorgeous. I get compliments every time someone visits our home, and I'm happy to tell them it's Liz from Not Too Shabby!!!

I have been looking at their furniture for many months online and finally had the pleasure of visiting the store.The staff there could not be more helpful. Liz ,the owner, completes your experience at "Not Too Shabby".
I purchased many items and Liz altered some of the items to meet my vision. She delivered the furniture to Manhattan without a problem.
While I had her in my apartment I wanted to explore her decorating skills. Her ideas are solid and very creative. I look forward working with her.

This is a great place to shop for "shabby chic" furniture. The store is amazing and has a very "home-y" feel. The furniture selection is classic and unique. The store owner will customize paint, colors and finishes for your home. The prices are extremely reasonable for what you are getting. I will definately shop here again.
