North Bergen Best Movers

I'm actually a CSR at U-Haul, and I would not use these guys is God himself ordered me to.
They are extremely rude. I tried to get information in order to aid a client and the guy who answered the phone was nowhere near helpful. They are not even woth the one star that i had to give in order to post this review.

Called these guys a week ago and asked to move me on a short note - they said yes. Crew arrived on negotiated date, wrapped all furniture in some thick packing material - looked like blanket to me) Guys were decent, answered all of the little questions that I had and delivered my belongings safely, without any damage. Price is average - not the cheapest, not the most expensive - definitely would recommend them.

I agree with a previous reviewer. This is by far the worst moving company I have ever worked with. Yes they show up on time, but under the name of a different company. They tell me right off the bat that its going to cost me an automatic $100 extra for transporation fees that were never previously mentioned. They made me sign and agree before they did anything else. After loading and unloading the truck, they get to my new home and tell me that I owe $50 more for three boxes that they used. But then, as a trick, they told me no charge. I told them ok, but I would like to keep the boxes, and they told me then pay for them. I tipped them and they said it wasn't enough and wanted more! They made be pay before the move was over because they knew the time was running out and they wouldn't complete the move. The time runs out conveniently 30 minutes after they demanded I pay. Then they asked for more money and said they only extend by the hour. Meanwhile I had a house full of furniture that was in pieces! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

I would give negative rating if I could. I used the them about 2 years ago. I called operator twice before deciding to go ahead with the company. She told me there are no charges beyond what she told me on the phone.

On moving day, movers showed up about 6 hours late, they were so rude that when I called multiple times to check when movers will reach my house and one time tuck driver (he seemed like the boss of the crew) told me that if I call again he would just not show up. He told me that I will have to pay $60 towards packaging. I had no choice but to agree. On unloading my stuff at my new house crew made sure that they will run 10 mins over the 4 hour estimate and then told me that I will have to pay for entire hour. On top of that I was also charged for the 30 min drive back to the main office (of-course I was chaged for entire hour as that how billing cycle goes).

Never use this company.

This was the best choice for movers in New Jersey we could have. We were very satisfied with them even the move took a half an hour longer than estimated, no any damages plus we got 10% discount for our Hoboken to Jersey City move. They packed our 2 bedroom apartment with a lot of furniture, our fragile things were packed carefully and professionally. Also their price includes insurance. Thank You guys It was a good choice.
