North Beach

The beach is beautiful and not crowded even in the summer weekends. But the walk from the parking lot to the sea is to long. It's almost painful to go back to the car for something or just to buy some drinks.

It's not to far for me and it's clean.
Not expensive.

Great place to bring your dog to the beach. They need to expand parking for the dog owners. Also it is really frustrating waiting in line in the heat trying to get in the beach and when you get to the booth the beach is CLOSED.

IT WOULD HELP if the workers, cops, troops, who ever can announce the beach is closed because of the parking being full couple of miles away from the entrance. Instead of having use waste time.

Recently going to the beach.
I have captured a lot of parasites and bugs creepy crawling in the water.
I did NOT dunk my whole body in after I saw that.

It disgusted me. And gave me reasons to look forward to a tropical beach with clear water rather the beaches around here. It is filthy and very unhealthy.

NEXT TIME YOU GO TO THE BEACH GET A EMPTY CLEAR BOTTLE you will find a lot of parasites with tons of little legs in the water. It's everywhere.

Sandy Hook beach is my favorite place in NJ! I can't imagine a better way to spend a summer day - I hit the bike trails in the morning and lay out on the beach in the afternoon. No one bugs u about ur music or cares if u have liquor. All they ask is that u be respectful of others and clean up ur own mess!
