I was in on 10/12/14 (sunday) to check out a Rogue they had on the lot. I spoke with Manny and a manager named Joe. As busy as it was supposed to be (Columbus Day weekend) they said I couldn't take the car for a test drive because the man that shuffles the cars around wasn't in. I sat there and spoke with the 2 employees for quite some time and ended up making a deal on the car pending the test drive. In order to close the deal i also left a deposit. I went back on 10/13/14, test drove the car, all went well but the original salesman that I worked with wasn't in so i returned on 10/14/14 to leave my check with them. They accepted my check, submitted any paperwork to my bank that was required by them, filled out the check and then the waiting game started.
By sunday 10/19 the check had still not been cleared although i was told multiple times over the phone it was deposited. I decided to call my bank and see if it was deposited and I was told it was not.
I get a call from James the used car manager later that day to tell me they can't sell me the car at the negotiated price because of repairs that were done on the car BEFORE i looked at it. These repairs were not disclosed to me at the time i left my deposit (the repairs included "repainting the bumper" and a detail) which worked out to roughly an additional $1,400.
I went in on 10/20 to claim my check which they have already endorsed with the amount that we negotiated written on the front. The best is i have the whole conversation recorded between myself and 2 of their managers, Frank and James, which will absolutely be publicized. I would like to spread the word aside from putting up bad reviews and hopefully get some news coverage on the way they try to scam customers.

Be very careful, they will try to cheat you any way they can.

The salesman "Patrick" and I hammered out a price on a certified pre-owned 2010 Rouge advertised on their website. The final price included any and all miscellaneous fees (he assured me of this several times). When he wrote up the sales form, he added $600 worth of fees. After I protested, he "checked with his manager" and the fees were waived.

We agreed to meet two days later to finalize the deal. Prior to our meeting, the salesman called to say the he would not be able to attend our meeting because he "forgot" he had a prior commitment. He said I should come in anyway and meet with his finance guy who knew all the details of our agreement.

The finance guy had a different story. He said the car was not certified pre-owned. That I would have to pay extra for a certified vehicle. After I threatened to walk out, he spoke with the owner, who held up the sales form and said to me "where does it say certified on this sales form?" After I started to leave, he relented and said they will "absorb" the cost of certification as long as I finance the car through them. I agreed. (Their interest rate was on par with my bank.)

While reading the finance agreement, I noticed that the amount being financed was higher that what it should have been. When I questioned the amount, they said that was because of the "processing fee." When I asked how much it was, they said $850. Again I threatened to walk out. And again, he checked with the owner. In the end, they would not budge on the additional $850 fee. I walked away. You should too.

Bottom line - I believe they were all in on the scam. Also, since salesman "Patrick" didn't even have a business card when I asked for one, "Patrick" is probably not even his real name.

Avoid if you can. Go to NJ or Brooklyn. SI Nissan will try to trick you to replace parts that are not broken. It happened to me. If you decide to use them please do yourself a service and get second opinion.
